Meet Dr. Rafla

Dr. Rafla is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1990 and Certificate of Specialty training in 1993. With 30 years of clinical experience and over 30,000 surgical dental implant placements, Dr. Akram Rafla has stayed up to date with the field’s greatest innovations and technology. On top of his own continuing education, Dr. Rafla lectured as a Diplomat of the International College of Oral Implantologists and has taught at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and other training courses.

Dr. Rafla was the chair for the Worcester District Dental Society and it’s Peer review Committee, member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association and Academy of Osseointegration.

Meet Dr. Salib

Dr. Klara Salib received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She continued her education at Boston University by completing advanced specialty training in Periodontology, along with a master’s degree in dental science in Periodontology.

Dr. Salib currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the predoctoral periodontology program at Boston University, Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She has been recognized for her academic excellence and leadership, receiving several honors, including the prestigious Morris P. Ruben Award and Scholarship, which is given to a periodontology resident with outstanding academic and clinical performance.

Dr. Salib loves providing patients with the highest standard of care in a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere that focuses on comfort and long-term results. Outside of work, she enjoys biking, reading, and traveling with her husband and her daughter. In addition to English, Dr. Salib speaks Arabic.
